1. Garden Centre Frontage Restoration – Littleport, Cambridgeshire
JTC Roofing & Cladding Ltd recently completed a stunning restoration project at a garden centre in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, revitalising the building’s appearance while enhancing its functionality.
Project Planning and Initial Work
Our client sought to revamp the garden centre’s frontage and expand the selling space with a solid oak lean-to. We began by over-cladding the building’s front, sides, and back. New zed galvanised purlins were installed to support the over-cladding, ensuring a secure and lasting fit.
Cladding and Structural Enhancements
We used poppy red 0.7 plastisol-coated single tin on all aspects of the building to create a vibrant, eye-catching look. To add contrast and visual appeal, the client chose black associated flashings, corner rolls, and barge boards. This combination made the building stand out while maintaining a cohesive design.
Finishing Touches
To complete the restoration, we installed Stormflo gutters and added a solid oak post-framed lean-to, providing both an authentic aesthetic and additional functional space. The lean-to was roof sheeted in poppy red with matching black flashings, perfectly tying the new addition into the rest of the building.
