1. Cambridgeshire Agricultural Storage Unit – New Build
JTC Roofing & Cladding Ltd recently completed a new agricultural storage unit in Cambridgeshire, demonstrating our expertise in delivering high-quality, durable solutions for the agricultural sector.
Foundations and Steel Framework
The project started with laying strong foundations and erecting a robust steel framework. The steel was sourced from a local, family-run business and is UKCA-marked, ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards.
Walling and Roofing Installation
We installed grain walling panels, stacking them three high and 145mm prestressed panels to support the filling surcharge. We used Brett Martin fibre cement roof sheets for the roof, and 0.5mm plastisol-coated single tin was installed above the grain walling on the sides. These materials offer excellent insulation and durability, which are critical for maintaining the grain’s quality and protecting the structure.
Final Touches
To complete the project, we installed Stormflo guttering and downpipes for efficient water management. A roller shutter door was added, providing easy access for machinery, essential for storing and handling the grain.
